About Simply Wander:
Hi! I’m Jamie, the creative force behind the Just Simply Wander travel blog and Instagram account.
I am a mom of four based in Arizona and my goal is to help families prioritize travel around school holidays and corporate PTO. I share ideas for summer road trips, spring break destinations, weekend getaways, local day trips, and more. I also know how important it is for moms to re-energize, so I also share ideas for girls’ trips and couples’ getaways.
I seamlessly blend my background in teaching and photography to create curated travel guides to help others “Wander Simply and Simply Wander”.
My travel guides have been inspiring others since 2018 and my photography has been featured in Harper’s Bazaar UK and Getty Images.

About Jamie Young:
I’m a stay-at-home mom of four. I graduated with my teaching degree 6 days before I gave birth to my first baby and was fortunate enough to be able to stay home and raise all of my kids.
Once my kids all started school, I debated going back to teaching, but my heart just wasn’t in it. I definitely lacked the energy I had 14 years earlier!
I decided to take the leap and pursue something that I love. I have poured years into creating this site and am proud to share something I am passionate about with you!
About the family:
We have four pretty cool kids! Our oldest is currently attending college in Hawaii and our second oldest is serving a church mission in Bangkok, Thailand. We are enjoying time with the two left at home, because we now how quickly it goes!
Our family’s favorite things to do is spend the summers on the lake and the winters on the slopes.
We are not a full-time travel family, we just enjoy traveling on school holidays and weekends. Happy travels!
